The Cadac Group, a leading Microsoft Gold Certified Partner developing Organice, a Microsoft SharePoint based engineering document management solution, is proud to announce that Ballast Nedam has selected Organice for a company-wide rollout.
Already in 2004, Ballast Nedam division Infra started a first project in which Organice was being used to manage all the project documentation from the different project participants. Working with Organice and Microsoft SharePoint was immediately a success, and as a result Organice was being used in multiple construction projects.
Next to the need for document management in construction projects, there was an increasing need for an easy to use document management solution within all divisions of Ballast Nedam. Due to the success of Organice in construction projects, Ballast Nedam also evaluated Organice for their document management needs. Ballast Nedam chose to implement SharePoint company-wide and deploy Organice selectively to the exacting users.
About 1000 users at Ballast Nedam will manage their documents with Organice Explorer. In addition, planners will use Organice Transmit to distribute documents efficiently to multiple recipients and track who received what and when. Next to that, Ballast Nedam will selectively use Organice Scan to scan incoming correspondence and Organice Publish to publish and convert documents managed in SharePoint.

De Cadac Group, een Microsoft Gold Certified Partner en ontwikkelaar van Organice, een op SharePoint gebaseerde engineering document management oplossing, kondigt met trots aan dat Ballast Nedam bedrijfsbreed gekozen heeft voor het inzetten van Organice.
Reeds in 2004 startte Ballast Nedam bij het bedrijfsonderdeel Infra met een eerste project waarbij Organice werd ingezet voor het beheren van alle project documentatie van de verschillende bouwpartijen. Het werken met Organice en Microsoft SharePoint was direct een succes, hetgeen leidde tot het inzetten van Organice bij meerdere bouwprojecten.
Naast de behoefte voor documentbeheer bij bouwprojecten, werd de wens voor laagdrempelig documentbeheer binnen alle bedrijfsonderdelen van Ballast Nedam steeds sterker. Vanwege het succes van Organice in een aantal bouwprojecten werd Organice tevens door Ballast Nedam geëvalueerd voor het eenvoudige documentbeheer. Ballast Nedam koos uiteindelijk voor het bedrijfsbreed inzetten van SharePoint en een selectieve inzet van Organice voor de veeleisender gebruikers.
Bij Ballast Nedam zullen circa 1000 gebruikers hun documenten met Organice Explorer beheren. Daarnaast gebruiken de werkvoorbereiders Organice Transmit, waarmee ze documenten efficient naar meerdere ontvangende partijen distribueren en volgen. Verder zet Ballast Nedam selectief Organice Scan in voor het digitaliseren van binnenkomende correspondentie en Organice Publish voor het publiceren en converteren van documenten.
