Dear (potential) business partner,

It is our pleasure to announce the first edition of the Organice partner newsletter. As you may know it is our goal to build a high quality partner channel in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) for our Organice Product Suite.  

We have chosen for a newsletter which contains several subjects, all sales and/or marketing related.

Our goal is to give you an easy way to stay informed about the commercial activities around Organice. This newsletter will contain short message items, linking to the full version on our website.

The Organice team hopes you will experience this newsletter as one more way to communicate and stay informed about the opportunities in our mutual market.

New release per July 2007.

As per July 11, 2007 we will launch the new Organice Explorer 2007. This new release makes the benefits of the Organice interface available to the Microsoft SharePoint 2007 platform, introduces additional smart document management features and expands CAD support.

With Organice Explorer 2007 you can now fully leverage content types, site columns, major/minor versions, workflow and item based security, whether you are on WSS 3.0 or MOSS 2007.

Specifically for the AEC industry we now offer AutoCAD 2008 integration as well as an add-on to Explorer with full Microstation integration.

In addition Organice Explorer 2007 offers Send & Save functionality in Outlook, enhanced drag & drop support and intelligent lookups with dynamic context based metadata filtering (Example: When you select ‘Company A’ as a property value for <Company>, the lookup on the next metadata field <Project> will only present the projects in which ‘Company A’ is participating. Subsequently if you select ‘Project 210’ the lookup for the field <Last Name> will only show the names of the people working at ‘Company A’ involved in ‘Project 210’, etc.


Organice 2007 pricing structure

With the launch of our 2007 version, the pricing structure will change. During the years we have added a lot of functionality and the Organice suite is recognized by the market as a very rich business solution.

With our new pricing and margin structure we better reflect the value we can generate for customers, we have a better fit for the spread in customer size and simultaneously offer a better margin opportunity for our (future) reselling partners.

After several years of development the functionality of Organice Explorer is increased significantly. With a growing number of Partners we decided to balance the available functionality and value for the user with the list price. Our strategy is a two-tier distribution, which means that more margin will come available for our Value Added Resellers.

Our current installed base contains small, medium and large organisations. That’s very good news. We also see an increase of the number of licenses after the initial purchase of a customer. These two arguments made us decide to introduce the Large Account Discount Schedule (LADS). Your partner purchase price is determined by the agreed discount over the official calculated Large Account Price.

Organice exhibits at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in Denver (July 9-12)

Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference will take place in Denver, Colorado, July 9-12, 2007. Organice will emphasize its unique position in the SharePoint solutions community and we will use the opportunity to strengthen our Organice partner network. Please come see us at booth 425!

This gathering of 10,000 (!) attendees only from Microsoft partners offers a wealth of information on Microsoft’s technology, but also on current and future solutions offered by Microsoft partners.

As Organice is a unique proposition driving deployment, acceptance and ROI of SharePoint, we present our entire 2007 portfolio in the partner exhibition.

With partners from all over the world attending, the conference offers us and you a unique opportunity to meet, explore and extend relationships driving more business for all of us.

Organice Product Roadmap

Organice continues to focus on Microsoft based software solutions for project driven businesses, with emphasis on the AEC industry.

Our 2007 roadmap for the second half of 2007 contains the launch of Organice Batch and Organice Publish.

Our current customer base requested the possibility to create an user friendly mechanism to “convert” all kind of files into a standard publishable data format. Either for reason to publish it in an easy way, or to archive them in a standard format. Organice Publish offers a rules based engine to poll your SharePoint libraries, pick up native documents, convert them to a standard format and place them in a destination of choice (other intranet site, extranet or network drive).

To enable this and several other (future) “jobs”, we will introduce Organice Batch. Organice Batch is a development that will allow running batch-processes against a SharePoint repository.

The concept is that Organice Batch is a server on top of which a maximum of 5 job-servers can be positioned. Individual job-server-processes may differ in complexity and impact.


Local Presence of the Organice Solutions Tour

The best way to convince your customers about the huge advantages of Organice is to show it too them. Starting August 1, 2007 the Organice team is available for you to support you with your customer seminar tour or other customer event. Organice saves the user time, money and speeds up his project. For more information about the possibilities to have our specialists supporting your events or tour, please send a mail to sales.emea@organice.com. We look forward to receive your planning and are happy to support all great initiatives.

In our experience it has been proven to be a success if you add the Organice solution to your other (i.e CAE or standard SharePoint/PDM) solutions and show it during your tour or open-house customer presentations.

New partners to become Qualified Organice Partner

Key element of our strategy is that we will line up a number of partners per area were each individual partner is more or less unique. Our goal is cover all business opportunities in a specific area with a minimum of competition between the Organice Partners. In the selection process of our partners we will “map” all relevant data needed to specify the market segmentation. We will introduce each new Partner in the Organice Newsletters to come. Organice website

With the use of our website we generate more and more leads. After we qualify these leads, they will be forwarded to our Qualified Partners in the particular country. To get our website in the top of the search engines we have a contract with a specialized partner. You can help us and yourself to increase the ranking of the Organice website by submitting to us the keywords/search words in your local language. Restricted Partner Site

Shortly we will open a restricted partner site to improve our communication with you and our support for your Organice business. The site is available for all official Organice partners with a fully executed and valid contract.

The partner site will provide you with our marketing material, case studies, technical information, and a growing knowledge base.

The partner site will also become your prime entry point for any support requests.

We will also (at a later stage) enable the entry of enhancement requests, leads and discussion items.
