For each transmittal, Organice Transmit creates a distribution tracking list, which keeps track of who received what and when. The tracking list is kept and managed in SharePoint. Per recipient a task can be specified, for instance when the recipient needs to approve the documents or needs to revise them. A deadline can be set for these tasks, and through SharePoint reporting, it can be checked if the recipients met the deadline. It is possible to see all open actions per transmittal, and to update all tracking items connected to a transmittal at once.
