Cadac Organice Explorer - MicroStation integration

Cadac Organice Explorer supports the following MicroStation versions:

• MicroStation V8 XM Edition;
• MicroStation V8i.

Cadac Organice has integrated MicroStation with SharePoint providing engineering document management for MicroStation DGN files in SharePoint.

MicroStation DGN files that are stored and managed in SharePoint can directly be opened into MicroStation. The Cadac Organice toolbar that is installed into MicroStation can be used to retrieve DGN files from SharePoint and save them back into SharePoint when the design work is finished. The Cadac Organice Explorer’s integration with MicroStation provides full support of reference files. Using the Cadac Organice toolbar, reference files can easily be retrieved from SharePoint and inserted as a reference into the DGN file. When a DGN with reference files is opened from SharePoint, the reference files are automatically resolved. 

Cadac Organice also lets you link SharePoint metadata to the attributes in the MicroStation DGN file. This can be configured according to company standards. When saving the MicroStation file into SharePoint, Cadac Organice automatically synchronizes the SharePoint metadata with the attributes of the DGN file.
